Frequently asked questions

What New Zealand buyers need to know.

Clear answers about Acemate, ordering, support and current limitations.

What is Acemate?

Acemate is an AI-powered tennis robot designed to track an incoming ball, move into position, collect it and return the next shot.

How is it different from a traditional ball machine?

A traditional ball machine normally feeds programmed balls from a fixed position. Acemate is designed to respond to where your shot travels and continue a rally-style exchange.

How much does it cost?

Acemate is available to order for NZ$4,499 including GST and New Zealand delivery.

When will my order arrive?

The current estimate is 10 to 14 days after order confirmation. Spintech will communicate any material delivery change directly.

Does it include a New Zealand plug?

A New Zealand-compatible plug adapter is required and is not included.

Can Acemate return every ball?

No. Shot speed, angle, placement, court conditions and setup can affect whether it reaches and returns the ball.

Is it suitable for clubs and coaches?

It may suit coaching, structured practice and member-use scenarios. Spintech will discuss your intended users, court setup, supervision and commercial requirements before recommending a purchase.

Can I book a demonstration?

In-person demonstrations are not currently available. You can request information or join the demonstration updates list.

Can I return it if I change my mind?

No. Spintech does not offer change-of-mind returns. Faulty, damaged or misdescribed products are handled in line with applicable New Zealand consumer rights.

How do I get support?

Email hello@spintech.store for ordering, setup and product-support questions.

Is the Acemate app free?

Yes. The Acemate app is free to use, has no subscription and is updated regularly by Acemate.

What warranty applies?

Acemate includes a 12-month limited manufacturer warranty beginning when you receive the product. Contact Spintech first at hello@spintech.store with proof of purchase, the product serial number, a description of the issue and supporting photos or video where reasonably available. Inspection may be required. The manufacturer warranty is additional to applicable rights under New Zealand consumer law.
